Deploy your Express, Next.js and NestJS projects from cPanel in minutes. Choose the Node.js version for each app, with NVMe storage, SSH, Git and free SSL included on every plan.
Pick a separate Node.js version for each app in cPanel, and switch to a newer LTS release from the panel whenever your project is ready.
From a single API to a multi-project agency setup, choose the Node.js hosting plan that fits your app count, RAM and NVMe storage needs.
Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT is added at checkout where applicable.
No need to hunt for separate Express.js, Next.js or NestJS hosting: most Node.js frameworks that install with npm and start from a single entry file run on our plans.
The minimal, flexible and most widely used Node.js framework for REST APIs, webhook endpoints and lightweight web apps.
TypeScript-first and modular, ideal for well-structured APIs and backends; run it from the compiled dist output.
React apps with server-side rendering (SSR); we recommend building locally and uploading the standalone output.
Vue-based server-rendered sites; build the project and run the Node server output it generates.
A performance-focused framework with low overhead for fast JSON APIs and microservices.
A minimal, async/await-centred framework from the team behind Express, ideal for lean APIs.
Headless CMS that serves ready-made REST and GraphQL APIs on MySQL/MariaDB; build the admin panel locally.
A full-stack MVC framework in the spirit of Laravel for web apps and APIs; run it from the build output.
Other npm-based frameworks usually work just as well; for always-on bots, queue workers and heavy real-time apps we recommend a VDS server.
No server setup, open ports or reverse proxy configuration needed: with cPanel Node.js hosting, every step happens in the panel.
Pick the plan that matches your app count and RAM needs and complete your order; your cPanel login details are sent to your email address.
In cPanel, open “Setup Node.js App” and set the Node.js version, application root, application URL and startup file (e.g. app.js or server.js).
Pull your project from a repository with Git Version Control or upload it with File Manager, then install your package.json dependencies with “Run NPM Install”.
Start the app, point your domain to it and serve it over HTTPS with a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate; no port configuration required.

Everything you need to deploy and run your Node.js app comes ready on every plan.
Assign each app its own Node.js version (18, 20 or 22) with CloudLinux Node.js Selector, so a legacy project keeps running while a new one uses the supported 22 LTS release.
Install dependencies with one click via “Run NPM Install”, and define settings such as API keys and database credentials as environment variables instead of hard-coding them.
Run npm commands over SSH or in cPanel Terminal, and connect your repository with Git Version Control to keep every deployment under version control.
NVMe disks speed up reads in file-heavy folders like node_modules, while CloudLinux allocates CPU and RAM per account to limit the impact of other accounts.
Create the MySQL/MariaDB databases included in your plan from cPanel, manage them with phpMyAdmin and connect with libraries such as Sequelize, TypeORM, Knex or mysql2.
Let's Encrypt SSL certificates are issued and renewed automatically, and your account is backed up regularly at no extra cost, with daily backups on the Professional and Business plans.
Not every Node.js project needs the same infrastructure. Node.js hosting is enough for web apps and APIs, while always-on processes and custom configurations call for a VDS server.
| Feature | Node.js Hosting | VDS Server |
|---|---|---|
| Management | cPanel interface; we handle server maintenance and security updates | Root access; you manage the operating system and services |
| Root access and custom ports | Not available; apps are served through the web server on ports 80/443 | Full root access; open any port you need |
| 24/7 background workers and bots | Not suitable; apps run on incoming requests and may be stopped when idle | Suitable; Discord/Telegram bots, queue workers and scheduled processes can run continuously |
| Resources and limits | Defined CPU, RAM and process limits per plan (CloudLinux) | vCPU, RAM and disk allocated to your server |
| Typical projects | REST APIs, Next.js/Nuxt sites, webhook services, MVPs and admin panels | Bots, heavy WebSocket apps, Docker and projects that need Redis, PostgreSQL or MongoDB |
| Starting cost | Low; affordable thanks to shared infrastructure | Higher; you pay for resources reserved for you |
Not happy with your current hosting provider? Our expert team moves your site to Oweb servers without data loss: moves from the same panel (cPanel to cPanel) are free, and sites coming from other panels are migrated manually.
Node.js hosting is a hosting service that lets you run server-side applications written in JavaScript or TypeScript, such as Express.js, Next.js or NestJS apps, on the internet. Where classic web hosting runs PHP scripts afresh on every request, Node.js hosting runs your app in its own Node.js process, with the version, npm dependencies and startup file managed from the panel.
Oweb's Node.js hosting plans are built on cPanel and CloudLinux. When you create an app with the “Setup Node.js App” tool in cPanel, you choose the Node.js version, the application root, the URL it will be served from and the startup file. Phusion Passenger, which runs alongside the web server, starts your app and forwards requests for your domain to it, so you do not need to open ports, set up a reverse proxy or configure a separate process manager. You can serve the app on your main domain, on a subdomain or under a path of your domain (e.g. /api). Oweb is a hosting provider authorized by Türkiye's Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK); if you get stuck at any step, our technical team is available 24/7 via support tickets and WhatsApp.
On standard web hosting, a PHP site loads its script again for each request, and the script exits as soon as the response is sent. A Node.js app, by contrast, runs as a process that stays in memory, handles connections itself and relies on many dependencies installed with npm. That is why RAM, the number of apps and the file count (inodes) matter more than the number of sites on a Node.js hosting plan. You can also host a PHP site and a Node.js API on the same account; for example, your WordPress blog can live on the main domain while your Node.js API runs on a subdomain. Because an app that receives no requests for a long time may be stopped, the first response after an idle period can take a few seconds; this is a natural trait of shared Node.js hosting.
A Node.js project's node_modules folder can contain thousands of small files. NVMe disks read them quickly, but because every file uses an inode, it is better to install dependencies on the server than to upload them from your computer. Node.js Selector keeps dependencies in a virtual environment dedicated to each app and creates a node_modules symlink to it in the application root; if a real folder with that name exists there, Run NPM Install in the panel fails. So do not upload node_modules: upload package.json and package-lock.json, then start the installation with “Run NPM Install” in the panel. If you prefer SSH, first run the virtual environment command shown in the panel, then use npm ci --omit=dev to install only production dependencies and keep disk and inode usage down. If the app does not start, check the error message shown in the panel and the log files in the application root first; a missing dependency or the wrong startup file are the most common causes.
Instead of writing database passwords, API keys or JWT secrets into your code, define them in the environment variables section of the app settings so that no sensitive data ends up in your Git repository. Your app can connect to MySQL or MariaDB databases on the same account via localhost; projects that need PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis are better suited to a VDS. Keeping your application files in a folder outside public_html prevents your source code and .env file from being downloaded directly. Once a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate is installed on your domain, remember to redirect all traffic to HTTPS.
If you are looking for cheap Node.js hosting, comparing monthly prices alone can quickly leave you hitting RAM or app limits. When comparing plans, check the following:
With frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt or NestJS, the build step needs far more memory than the running app and can hit the resource limits of shared hosting. We therefore recommend building on your own computer or in a CI tool and uploading only the output. For Next.js, set the output option to standalone in next.config.js; after the build, copy the public folder to .next/standalone/public and the .next/static folder to .next/standalone/.next/static, then upload the contents of .next/standalone to the application root and choose server.js as the startup file. For short tasks that need to run at set intervals, such as generating reports or clearing caches, the Cron Jobs tool in cPanel is often enough. If your project includes an always-on bot, a queue worker or heavy WebSocket traffic, or if you need root access, Docker or custom ports, it is time to move to a VDS virtual server.

Node.js hosting is hosting set up for JavaScript and TypeScript server apps such as REST APIs, server-rendered Next.js sites and webhook services. Classic web hosting is configured to serve PHP scripts and static files. On Node.js hosting, your app is started once and answers incoming requests from the same process; you set its Node.js version, startup file and environment variables in cPanel's Setup Node.js App screen. Because our plans run on cPanel and CloudLinux, you can host PHP sites on the same account too.
Our plans offer Node.js 18, 20 and 22. Since official support for Node.js 18 and 20 has ended, we recommend Node.js 22 LTS, which still receives security updates, for new projects. With CloudLinux Node.js Selector you choose the version separately for each app and can switch to another version later from the panel. After changing versions, we suggest reinstalling dependencies and restarting the app.
Log in to cPanel, open Setup Node.js App and click Create Application, then set the Node.js version, application root, application URL and startup file (for example app.js). After uploading your files with Git or File Manager, install the dependencies with Run NPM Install and start the app. There is no need to configure ports or a reverse proxy.
Yes. Frameworks such as Express.js, Fastify and Koa run directly from a startup file; for NestJS projects you select the compiled dist/main.js file as the startup file. For Next.js, we recommend building locally, uploading the standalone output and using server.js as the startup file. Running the build on the server may hit shared hosting limits.
You can install the dependencies listed in your package.json with one click using the Run NPM Install button in cPanel. SSH and Terminal access are included; after you activate the app's virtual environment with the command from the panel, npm and node use the Node.js version you selected for that app. With cPanel Git Version Control you can connect your GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket repository to your account and update your code from it.
Node.js hosting is designed for apps that respond to web requests; the app runs when requests arrive and may be stopped after a long idle period. A Telegram bot running in webhook mode can work on Node.js hosting. However, for Discord bots, long-polling bots, queue workers and scheduled background processes that need a persistent connection, we recommend a VDS server.
Node.js hosting plans include MySQL/MariaDB databases; you can create them in cPanel, manage them with phpMyAdmin and connect from your app via localhost. PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis are not offered on these plans. For projects that need these technologies, we recommend a VDS server.
For request-based projects such as websites, REST APIs, webhook services or admin panels, Node.js hosting is an affordable and easy-to-manage choice. If you need root access, custom ports, Docker, 24/7 background processes or heavy WebSocket traffic, a VDS server is the better fit. If you would rather not manage a server yourself, you can also consider our Managed Server service.
When your app reaches the plan's CPU, RAM or process limits, it may slow down or temporarily fail to answer new requests. You can track consumption on the resource usage page in cPanel and upgrade to a higher plan from your client area or with a support ticket whenever you need. If you outgrow even the largest plan, our support team can help you move to a VDS server.
Current Node.js hosting prices are shown on the plan cards on this page for the billing period you select. Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout where applicable. You can pick a billing period such as monthly or annually from the tabs above the cards, and if you cancel within the first 7 days you receive a refund under our refund policy.
